German or USSR war bike with a sidecar

I have no idea what it is but I saw this when I was looking at some bicycle stuff.

That has to be a Ural (Russian).

CCCP = USSR. Take a look at some older USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Repuplic) Olympic uniforms. Russia was one of 15 Soviet countries that made up the Union of Soviet Republics. Originated in 1922, dissolved in 1990.

Could be a 'Ural' as stated above or a 'Dnepr' (solmetimes sold under the 'Cossack' brand here in the UK).
Both are still in production and are based on the WW2 era BMW R-71 which the Soviets acquired the licence to copy in 1940.
Available in 1 or 2 wheel-drive versions.
The military styled version was available over here at one time with a machine gun mount on the sidecar!

That's an Ural badge.

War reperations gave the design to the Russians. It is 1939 out-dated and goes very slow. Made in a tank factory and not for regular use. Cool though and it is in the great movie, "Garden State".
