Getting Old And Senile... What Is This?

What are these "HUB PARTS" ? Look like cut-outs from a fab-shop... if they are 13/16" thick; woodruff keys if they are 13/16" in length. What Bicycle used woodruff keys?

They are keyways. For holding pulleys and gears on shafts.

Thank You Catfish! That would be the 'woodruff' keys. Are they used in Three Piece peddle crank set-ups? Multiple speed rear hub where chain sprocket(s) attach?

I can't believe they are worth $7.00 bucks per pair... I'm sure the local farm store has them. Maybe it's just that I've never gotten over 5 cent cokes and full size snicker's bars going to 10 cents each!???

Sturmey Archer SW pawls...I think.

My Hercules 3 speed has pawls in it, but I don't know if that's the correct size. Sturmey-Archer and other internal gear hubs have them, too.

I think there's a coaster brake hub that uses them, but I'm not sure. Maybe Sachs?

I think the "senile" feeling you're getting, is "why do I care what these are for?"
