Girls Goodyear Double Eagle identification Help

I recently picked up this bicycle on FB marketplace from the research I’ve done it appears to be a Columbia? If so I would like to know the year , the serial number is on the left dropout M484165 . The bike seems to be all original with the exception of the grips and tires . I would really appreciate any information

It’s a 1949. Made by Westfield (Columbia). Appears to be all original except grips, rear rack reflector and missing the horn in the tank. Can’t tell from the pics if the tires are the original Goodyear white walls or not.

Your bike is in great original shape. The chainguard, light and rack are unique specifications for a Columbia built bike. The same year Columbia’s used their own racks, lights and chainguards. Seeing such a complete bike with these specs is unusual. It’s a really nice find, the Columbia versions are quite common.

Here’s a picture of page 10 of the 1949 Fall/Winter Goodyear catalog. Yours appears to be the 024-0620 model.

I think I found the correct horn on eBay but that rear reflector may be a challenge.
