Goodbye, "Gary"

Look Ma, No Hands!
I'm afraid I have some sad news. I had to get rid of "Gary", my 1971 Schwinn Racer. I got all the parts I needed, took it down to the guy I bought it from to have him help me, and he ended up taking it back. When he removed the tires, the inside of the rims were rusted solid and the internal transmission gears were shot. The bike would have needed all new rims, tires, and tubes. That would have cost approximately $120, which is six times the $20 that I bought it for. And way more than I could afford to pay. I guess the guy felt bad for unknowingly selling me a junker, so he took it back, and refunded me my $20, plus an extra $5. He's going to save the Schwinn badge off the front tube for me to remember it by.
