Grandma'sBike

On Training Wheels
Any help here would be appreciated. This was my Grandma's bike back in the day; she's in her mid-eighties now. Was curious how old her bike was exactly? I thought it would be easier to find out but after reading some forums with identification info, I'm realizing that it's trickier than originally expected. The serial number under the crank is A17353 with maybe another A and a small W with a circle around it at the end (women's bike maybe?). It's 26" wheels, I did find that little measuring trick on the frame out. Any info would be great. Just trying to satisfy my curiosity of Grandma's bike.

Great bike!

That's an ACw stamped after the serial. That makes this bike a 1950 model.
