Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
A very complete example of a circa 1900 (?) Columbia Model 66. The paint appears to be an early overpaint; I have not tried removing this it looks great as found. Includes OG Columbia script pedals, Dietz bicycle lamp, very nice bars with cork grips, sweet complex seat chassis with remains of the original cover, matching button tread tires that maybe able to be massaged into better shape with some heat and John Deere magic juice, and an original Columbia spoon brake. I haven't done anything to the bike and is it completely "as found." It has losses to the saddle covering (see images), typical wear, scratches, scuffs as expected, some rust, a great Columbia ball end spoked hub wheel set, please note: areas of paint loss on the rear rim (see images). $1350 plus shipping. A fantastic value, if you do the math on the parts it would price out easily at several hundred over what am asking for the bike. Free delivery to Arizona or So. Cali on my time schedule with pre-payment.
