@Sven That was a clean break. As long as you have the two pieces and the shoe spit more or less down the middle it should be fine. Just reassemble and it will work as intended. Some Bendix brakes came with 4-shoes for improved braking rather than just 2-shoes. You now have a 3-shoe model half way between...LOL
But in all seriousness it should work just fine if you put it back together correctly. I've seen this happen before and reassembled the brake with the broken shoe pieces properly aligned and it continued to work just fine.
