Probably my favorite holiday. Got out for an early cruise around town before the 90+ temps hit. The Iver Johnson got the honor of displaying the colors this morning. Happy 4th Cabers! 🇺🇸

Yesterday Our local Dragstrip puts on an Independence eve explosion drag race every year with jet funny cars and dragsters, jet kenworth, pro mods, 3.99 class, cars that run 200 mph in the 1/8 mile, nitro Harleys, wheel standers, motorcycle stunt shows, live bands, fireworks, and a full slate of bracket cars. A full day of action that draws about 12K people at $30 a head. Canceled because of rain. The new track owners took a hit of about $360K with no rescheduled date. Bummer.
