I have what I believe to be a machine for installing hard tires/rubber onto bicycles, tricycles etc. Does anyone know anything about this or if there is value to it? Thanks

Do you have a picture? I have a buddy looking for one. I have no idea of value. Here’s an ad for one.

I think, that one is a Peerless Tire Setter.
It was made to hang on the wall of a shop, for setting large diameter wheels.
Having all the tools to go with it, is the icing on the cake.
They are usually long gone.
Typically the wire gets tensioned and then the wheel gets flipped creating the twist that loops the ends of the wire together.
The way Dave does it in the video, by soldering the ends of the wire together, is a much cleaner application.

Only guy I ever saw use one was Bud Moscript(sp)(RIP) at Hall Bicycle in Cedar Rapids IA.
Karl likely know how it works as well.
