Looking for suggestions on how to haul 6 balloon tire bikes with tanks & fenders to a show. Preferably on a UHaul rental trailer. Any photo examples would be great.

Remove the handlebars and pedals. Cover each bike with something handy so they're not banging into each other, maybe place something pillow-like in-between them and away you go.
Laying the bikes down doesn't seem like a first choice to me even with blankets or pillows. They all have perfect paint. I'm thinking about using a pair of these and strapping the bikes down. Not sure how I'd secure the racks to a metal trailer floor.

Step number one if you’re gonna buy something like that would be to actually measure the trailer width. most will be 5 foot or under.

Definitely something to consider. The racks should fit on the six foot wide and toy hauler trailers.

Let me clarify something: I never said to stack them. You think I'm an idiot? I'd take my way to that 58 dollar china rack any day. You still have to remove the pedals and bars. That rack has no means of support for each bike and unless you place a tarp on each one with another tarp or something bunched up in between them, your perfect bikes will be damaged. ....... .My way has worked for me for many years without ever damaging a bike.

I had good results with enclosed uhaul trailer and or truck to transport bicycles.I used ratchet strap tie downs to the handle bars on an angle from the tie down rails located on the sides and would secure the bicycle locking the front tire, fork and handle bars.I would place thick pieces of foam rubber between the bikes.I alternated facing the next bike the other direction on the trailer gave me more room for more bikes and smaller thickness of foam required and not having to remove pedals or altering the handle bars

Thanks for the photos. Strapping to an enclosed trailer B6 sides sounds good. I figured that alternating the direction of the bikes might eliminate the need to remove handlebars and pedals.

Where did you get all the foam? I checked into 4 inch twin size mattress toppers. They're $45--$55 each.
