I like the effects, my brother's house, an hour south of Memory Lane. He is not a bike guy, but he loves the patina.

Did some more tonight. The rear hub's play was on the brake side. The bearings, if you call them that were crushed.

The drive side was pretty smooth, so might use it with these hubs. My plan is to make a set of riders with modern 29'ers painted with the same pinstripes if I can pull it off. Another set with the original rims as a display set. Here are the hubs from the girls bike I bought.

Pulled the crank. Came out really easy. It's pretty crusty, so I'm gonna leave it as is. I think Evaporust would take what nickel Is left completely off. I'm treating this as a preservation, not a restoration.

The frame is super straight. No dents anywhere. Pics of original decal on seat tube. Don't see any bad rust in any frame tubes. I think this bike was loved by many people for many years. Pic of serial #. It is stamped really deep. Had to sand down more than I wanted to, but I want to know this bike's history.

The rear ND model A is really rough. There is so much play on the drive side, it makes me wonder if there are even bearings in it.

The pictures of the coaster brake hub parts appear to show a later Model C/D driver?
