I live for the CABE
These bikes are coming from a old bike shop out of business.
I don't want to keep them, but pass to somebody who is interested in them as a complete bike or parts.
The Hawthorne was restored 25...30 years ago.
I have no idea what's left original. Also I believe it is a early 40's, but not sure. 26" wheels size.
Also i have the tank.
The Firestone looks original paint. It is a 24" wheels size.
So if you can help with a evaluation and the year of fabrication.

The Hawthorne is Cleveland Welding (CWC) built. It has a 1951-55 patent 2,710,207 seat post clamp, and 1950 patent 2,513,496 scuff guards, (design patent D160,402). See the chart in the CWC serial numbers thread on this site.
The Firestone is Monark built.
