This is why I like volunteering at the Collective.
From the rafters of a local old garage and donated for the new year.
I see another posted with questions.
Up in the air as to it's prognosis. It would clean up well enough for a hanging display.
Front tire although small for the rim, is like new.

I'm guessing about '52/3 CWC built bike. If you post the rest of the serial it should tell you the date e.g. ACW 52.

Oh, there must be a couple more digits. The A is pretty lite, they may trail off under the paint I'll look again tomorrow

This bike has been claimed.
I put newspaper carrying racks on the back. Cleaned and greased so it's a rider. Then i found a split open crack in the seat stay.
It has been given to someone for yard art. The newspaper baskets will be full of flowers on a covered front porch.
Good. Hard to scrap an old war horse.
The og rack is available...

A real shame for that skip tooth chain to be lost to yard art! I'd have also saved the truss rods, bars & stem, and rims. Easily swapped out for modern stuff.
