Hawthorne makeover

Hi all,
I've been tinkering with my Hawthorne, New cog on rebuilt new departure hub, all bearings cleaned and regreased. Installed a correct crank and pedals and added some truss rods and vintage seat along with new tires and tubes. here are a before and after pics. Still looking for a carrier and light and am hoping to try my hand at replacing the missing orange pin striping. Let me know what you think?!

Nice job on getting the details right. You'll never go wrong with black walls on a prewar.
I'm looking at doing the same thing on a crusty 35 Hawthorne Motobike Standard I picked up off Myrtle Beach CL this week

Your bike didn't originally come with a rear rack as it has the upper fender brace.
