Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Is this Purple a real color or paint over. It looks to be factory. Have you ever seen one this color or did Elvis have it made and I'm a lucky guy. Here is some pics I think 1950 Deluxe. I have never seen something this color that old. Thanks for any knowledge on this color.

I have this Hawthorne which I believe is also a 1950 model. It didn’t photograph particularly well but it definitely is more purple than red. Bought it from the son of the original owner. Was not a repaint. I’ve seen this color before on similar Hawthornes.

I have one that color too, stamped '05 SN', making it a '50. Your partial stamp looks the same. Hawthornes in particular had unusual colors around that time; there are a few in the Evolution books, red & gray, tans, etc.
