Hawthorne (Wards) Bike

Looking for information on a barn find Hawthorne (Wards) bike. Newbie-- any info welcomed.

Looks like a Snyder built from the 1960’s or later. These middle weight bikes often required hold down hooks to prevent them from floating away.
