Some rust removal.
Gotta tell ya, I much prefer the Heavy frames from about 1996-98 or so. This 1990 is not as nicely put together.

Got as much rust off as I could, rubbed the bare steel with some Boeshield T9 and am not painting it this year.
Laced a Nexus 4 with a coaster brake to an alloy wheel, Arai front wheel from a donor, layback seat post, Oury grips and she's ready to deliver newspapers!
I did change the ring to a 36T and the cog is a 23T. It was a little tall for me with the stock ring. I may try a 40T.

Is that actually painted or is it powdered? Those wire brush marks kind of lead me to believe that's powder coated.
