'Lil Knee Scuffer
My grandma was a janitor / lunch lady in the late '60s - early '70s at a small elementary school in southern Minnesota. A couple weeks after school was out for the summer, she noticed this bike was still chained to the bike rack on the playground. With seven grandkids between ages 14 (me) and 4, she figured it would be a cool bike to have for us to ride at her house. **grabs bolt cutters out of janitor's closet**

When she moved into an apt with no room for a bike (except the stationary one she rode every day till age 89), the bike became ours. Seven years ago when my dad passed away, we pulled out all the great vintage stuff my dad had saved, including my original trike from 1958 and my brother's Coast King pedal tractor, and this bike. I had forgotten my brother had this, until I was reminded of it during our current build off on Rat Rod Bikes.

Looking for any info you can provide on the parts, frame, etc. Seems it might be a Columbia frame, @MrColumbia ? Schwinn Slik rear tire, Person's saddle (see label) and sissy bar (see stamp). Other ideas on parts? Rear fender? Handlebar / grips? Thanks ahead of time for all your help! Also interested in finding out approx value of said items in case I'm willing to sell some parts.

And yes, it's rattle can purple, original metallic green color shows under the BB and on chain stays.

@erleeriser I'm sure you are correct about the Columbia frame. Sprocket looks to be Huffy to me. Chain guard appears to be a generic aftermarket. I'm guessing this bike was built up from whatever was laying around. I did plenty of that in my youth as well, assembling whatever I had or could get for free.
