Finally riding a big boys bike
Hello all, this is my first post, but I have been trolling the Cabe for many many years as a guest and have several friends who are Cabers. I have come to the point where I need to reach out to those of you that have more knowledge than me in certain areas of the vintage bicycle world. I have, among way too many bicycles, a TOC that I purchased 30 years ago without a head badge. It has many features that should make it identifiable to those of you in the TOC world as shown in the pics I am posting. I know this post should normally be directed to the Antique Bicycles Pre -1933 forum, but this is my "Birds of a Feather" first post. The serial is on the bottom of the head tube, it has a unique seat post binder, a unique bottom bracket, and distinctive fork. The front rim is original to the bicycle as I received it, a metal clad wood rim. The rear rim is all wood and something that I acquired about 7 or 8 years ago. The bike came with what appeared to be the original seat, but I didn't care for it's size or condition so I sold it.
If any of you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for it's identity, approximate year of manufacture,, and a ballpark value of the bike in its current condition. Thank you all in advance!!
