Help ID Headbadge for frame?

Also, note that not all Wards Hawthorne badges are the same.
Some fit those CWC-built models; etc.

I believe that I once measured some of my horizontally holed-up badges, (e.g., Zenith), but it is easier to just test fit each one.
I will have to find the Zenith badge in order to measure again.

Any way to tell if it is CWC visually? Or just by serial, or none at all?

I assume that it is not cheating to look at the bikes that the head badge came with or came off of.

Early 1938-C CWC with pre-war brass Wards Hawthorne badge (above).

Early 1947-A CWC with post-war brass head badge (V-holes).

@coasterbrakejunkie1969 Yours is a 50's Snyder with rack mounts on the drops and unique seat stay fender mount. See mine below that also has switch holes on the top tube...It also has black paint with red head and white pins.
@GD5877 Your frame may be from another factory? Snyder though for sure.

Snyder made Hardware Store moto....early 30's. Looks like all-original parts ....28-er. Maybe post a diff. thread on your bike?
