On Training Wheels
My wife picked this tricycle up at her sisters thrift store. They didn’t want to sell it because the seat was broken. Any ideas what brand it might be? I have no idea how old it is. The chrome is in pretty good condition, so I’m not sure if it’s that old at all.

OK, so I didn’t see it until after I posted, but there was a brand marking on the wheel. It is an Angeles SilverRider 14” preschool trike, so not vintage at all. Since these are usually sold in fleets for preschools, I can only find replacement seats in packs of three. Any ideas where I can find an individual one?

Seeing how the seat is attached, you might not have any other choices. Unless you modify the mounting method somehow.

Might consider fabricating a seat, perhaps out of 1" plywood?
And a little stain and linseed oil to make it appear more vintage?
