Help me identify this Schwann please

First post here. Glad I found this place.

This bike was left to me by my grandmother. She had it restored many years ago and it sat in her living room until I received it.

Isn't this the second "Schwann" we've seen lately? Seriously though this is an early 50s Schwinn Bantam. Find the serial and you can identify the year. My guess '51-2. V/r Shawn

Dang I sold a decent original about the same year as this and had a tough time getting $75! V/r Shawn

BB stamped 8/28/1950........... G280756. So, maybe available for sale @ Christmas 1950?
