I started collecting and researching tricycles about 35 years ago. Having been a mechanical designer before retiring, I would study design features on trikes that had some maker identification on them. That helped me learn how to ID trikes by design features alone if their identification was gone. Believe me, I'm still learning as well and will sometimes get stumped!
 
GOOOOD MORNING!! - curved front bar is called a 'truss', and the whole fork and curved bar is called a 'truss fork'. also note, just because something is listed for 450 doesnt make it worth 450.. people can ask anything. sale prices and auction prices determine that. As it sits its worth 50 - 60 bucks tops. Have fun with it! welcome to the cabe!
 
I think I have the same or similiar bike. I can see Junior Toy Co paint on front of mine and a boy on the back pipe.

Mine has no front fender though.

Yes, likely the same manufacturer but mine is a larger model.
Yes, this one is probably an older model from the 1940s - has the older style Junior Toy decal on the front....definitely pre-1951 and AMF. Has the original seat.
