Help needed for Peugeot saddle

I'm working on a late 1880's or early 1890's Peugeot bike. There is a stamping on the leather saddle that I can't make out. It is I'm sure in French. Anyone have an idea what it reads. It measures about 2" long by 1-1/2". Thanks.

Maybe Ideale ? Not sure when they started producing saddles.

Hi Allen!

In the first Catalog from 1886, Peugeot used Lampluch & Brown Saddels. From the pictures i guess yours is a model Populaire. They were build relatily long. With a frame number i schould be able to date your Bike and have a look if i can find more information for you.
