Look Ma, No Hands!
Hello,

I’m again looking for help from the experts for some info. I found this Klinedinst special and was wondering who the manufacturer might be.
I understand Klinedinst was a bike shop in York, Pa.for many years and they had bikes made for them by several different companies?
Any information in general, and on year and manufacturer would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Seat post clamp area looks peculiar; head badge looks Shelby-esque.
Sprocket might be Huffman; and does the serial number start with an "H"?

Can I see a picture of the top side of the bottom bracket from the non chainring side?

Sloppy stamping looks more appropriate to Snyder than Westfield.

I don't know about that, I have a couple of Westfields that have rather sloppy serial number stamping.
However, with that in mind, none of my Westfield built bicycles have numbers that look like that. There number dies were a different font.

I just compared the number font and it does looks like Westfield... Is there any more stamping above the serial? A letter and number, an overcode?

Rear dropout looks Westfield too...

@Mercian

H9 overcode is September 1941

The 1st letter in the long serial is likely an F and the second digit 1 is probably upside down...

Not the best day for the stamper must have had other things on his mind!
