Hard to tell from just one pic of a partial bike but does look about '38 Colson. Maybe not common but I wouldn't call it rare. Not a lot of collector value on somethign like this unless it has a killer stem or something I can't see. V/r Shawn
I have the handle bars to they say touring on the by where the grips would go.
But my question is another site I look at says the Colson bikes pre-war area are extremely rare. I'm just looking for answers possibly values. I am in the middle of restoring the bike and I'm trying to find a model and the color patterns
Handlebars likely say "Torrington". Some prewar Colsons are valuable--Imperials, Commanders, Hi-Los, and Double Eagles to name a few. This is a base level girls bike and even restored will not have a lot of value. In fact, a true restoration will cost many times what this bike is worth finished. What size does the tire say?
