Any chance that's an 84 EH with poor stamping or thick paint making it look otherwise? Snyder dating is the reverse of the last two digits I.E. 84 = 1948, which is what it looks to be.
Having trouble finding a correct Badge for this Bike. Tried 2 Rollfast badges & the holes in the Badge is too far apart.
Holes in the head tube are 1 1/2 in apart. Any ideas??
Could be a Hawthorne, and, being a '48, would've had the aluminum head badge. Or, one of Snyder/Rollfasts' many private label badges like Princeton, Yale, Rex, Keystone, Roamer, Cadet, etc.
