Help wanted! Grip Therapy?

Thinking of placing a set of hard (not cracking or brittle) teens era grips in the ultrasonicator for possible softening. Anyone have a good idea of optimum heat level or degrees in Celsius to achieve a good result in suppleness or at least pliable enough to slide onto the handlebars without breaking up?

Low pressure on your air compressor and a little finagling with thumb on end of bars opposite side should work. If so once one is on hopefully the grips have a small hole on end and repeat for other side. Also lube the area lightly where grip goes. Worked for me many times.

Grips are off already, trying to soften them up to pally them to the bars...

Thats what I am talking about- reverse the removal process gently.
