slowride

Finally riding a big boys bike
Hopefully this will soon be coming my way.
Said to be ‘39 and based on ball tip seat stays and head lugs, the frame fits the bill.
Crankset does not look like the ones on other ‘39s I’ve seen. Was this an option or? Is it a + or -?
The rest looks correct from what I see
Appreciate info and advice.

post it in the wanted section here . keep an eye on ebay it may take awhile but at least you have a place holder for now. Are you going to ride it? The tourist and track models are different the thickness of the arm and the pedal threads you need the track thick arms and 9/16" pedal threads. The pedals on that bike are very nice! price depends on condition $250.00 or more. don't take my word on the threads double check verify . If you decide to pass please send it my way:) thanks Brian

Nice bike! To me the drive looks to be from a superior and the non drive is paramount. Brian
Here’s another pre-war paramount with same crank.
@Rear Facing Drop Out could you please share history of your paramount? Was crank original or ? Thank you!

This is mine which was repainted/decaled by Schwinn in the early 60's and retrofitted for daily riding. My serial number is A324. I thought bikes up to about serial number 550 were '38 models? V/r Shawn
