Finally riding a big boys bike
Hi,
I recently purchased a 1950 Goodrich bike. Just trying to confirm if these are the original Silvertown's or are they Repop's.

If they are original I probably want to put them up and not wear them out.

The only words on the tires are:
- B.F. Goodrich Silvertown
- 26 x 2.125
- KEEP INFLATED FROM 22 TO 35 LBS

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Bob

They look original to me. Might help to post any other number that appear on the sidewall.

Hi Bob,
In my opinion, they look way too white to be original. Combine that with the lack of the "Made in USA",
I would say that they are reproductions.
Keep in mind, some of the reproductions are good, high quality tires..............Wayne

Coker has been making

these (or at least sellin them) since the late 80s if I remember right-some seconds were sold with splotchy yellow stains on the ww.
they are also offered in black and cinnamon

i've had 4 0r 5 pair of orginals and all said usa, i had a couple pair of coker repops and i dont believe they said country of origin which is strange i thought that was a requirement

Thank You

Thanks Everyone for your great comments! ;)

I kind of thought they were replacements from some point in time but thought I would double check with you experts!

Time to do some riding (If the snow would ever melt!)

Bob
