On Training Wheels
Hello, I recently picked up with bike at a garage sale for $20 because I liked the look of it. Definitely not really a bike guy, my hobby is old VWs but when I saw this I liked the look of it and couldn’t pass it up. I thought it was a Schwinn at first and even ran the number stamped into in a Schwinn database which gave me a date of 1953. However I was recently told that this isn’t a Schwinn because of the rear axle mount area. I figured I would post on here as I’m sure someone will know what exactly it is.

Looks like there's a CW stamping on the drive side of the BB shell. Cleveland Welding if that's what that stamping is.

Cleveland Welding Co. (CWC) frankenbike. Looks like serial might be 1955. Could have been badged a Roadmaster. V/r Shawn
