Help with Colson fender compatibility!!

I have a 1940 Colson snap tank and I’m looking for fenders. A fellow CABE member has a set but they are from a 1938 Ladies Colson, he thinks model 05368. Will these fenders fit my 1940 Men’s snap tank? Thank you if someone can help!!

They may fit but will not be correct. The 38 fenders will have flat braces. The fenders you need have stamped braces.
