Help with identification

My friend purchased a house and found these bikes in the garage. Any ideas about what the blue one is, and the approximate year on the Schwinn? This isn't my era of bikes...

we used to call these "land fill" now gold

Both are Schwinn. I think the blue one is 50's, and the yellow one 60's-70's, but I'm no expert.

The yellow bike might be a 1972 and up Heavy-Duti. The Blue one is probably an early 50's Schwinn Deluxe Spitfire.
