Help with Schwinn Panther

I am to see if the Schwinn Panther I am going to buy has an original seat. Did the Schwinn Panther seats ever come in the two tone color without an S stamp?

Yes it is from the 60s

Middleweight Panthers were made from 59-61, then again from 66-70. Early middleweight models were either Panther II or III and just Panther after 66. Pics would be great.

In addition to 'rollfater' from 1959 for the most part, as it became the standard; especially that the panther's were deluxe or high end models, all 60's Schwinn 26 inch, 24 and 20 middle weights had two tone with an S.

Yep, there's the answer. S seat in 59, think that was the first year for it.
