History of Mussleman coaster brakes middletown and Cleveland
Well, partsguy ... i'm more than a little surprised ..
knowing shoe3 as I do.
Shoe3 is the culprit that got me into doing research
and writing historic bicycle stuff onto paper. The
man knows quite a lot of stuff regarding Ohio machines
... especially those built in SW Ohio. He is the biggest
influence in my humble ramblings.
Met shoe3 back about 1985 ... we both worked for the
same sod-laying company.
The underboss had to keep yelling at shoe3, saying ...
''Green side - up !!'' ... ''Green side - up !!''
We weren't on that job for more than a half-hour when shoe3 was taken off the sod-placement detail ... and was
given the watering-detail job.
I believe that's what happened -- can remember the under-
boss referring to shoe3 as a ''Hoser''.
Sod laying company!
I knew there was something about you guys that I liked. Lol!
I've put down my fair share of sod in my time.
Nothing beats a perfectly rolled lawn. Haha!
Ohio built bikes are a close second though.
