Balloonatic

Riding my '39 Silver King 26X
Here's one (1) beehive cap I found; I believe it's either a hubcap for the Rollfast Hopalong Cassidy bikes, or the springer cap for Rollfast bikes, I'm not sure which. It measures about 2" wide by 1" tall. Condition is nice original with minor corrosion, please see photos.

Threads on the nut inside are in good shape, it's an old, square (4 sided) nut in there. Looks all original. If your springer is missing this piece, or your Hoppy bike is missing a hub cap, you're in luck! Surely a scarce part. Sorry, I have no others, just this one.

Price: $80 shipped inside the US.

Thanks @OhioJones; but this is not a discussion forum, it's my for sale post; showing someone else's item here, and saying where it's available is not really appropriate.

****It should be noted the repro caps you posted are chrome plated PLASTIC. And the "original" shown is very likely not a Hoppy hubcap, the threads are too deep, you'd never get it on the axle. It's very likely the springer cap having the threads so deep in there.

My cap is original, and chrome plated metal; not a plastic reproduction. It's possible it could be used as either the Rollfast springer cap, or the Hoppy hubcap because the threaded hole is right at the surface, not deep inside.
