Well, placed a sizable proxy bid for this sight unseen while trusting the auctioneer. Great idea, right?! What could go wrong?! Apparently he’d never heard of spraypaint... Ooof.

Anyway, any guidance on what’s correct and what’s not would be appreciated. Fork should not be a springer is all I know...

Real 26" DDs are very rare and this one never was a DD. If you want to build a 26" tribute DD that is the wrong head and the chances of finding one are about zero. There may be some repos out there and you would have to change the fork and I think fender braces but not sure. V/r Shawn

My uncle brought over some other bits that go with the Shelby and the cruiser deluxe 7. Unfortunately when I was back here a few hours away. The Tupperware is assoc with the DD bike and says Donald Duck headlight. Curious to see what that’s about...
