Should be able to use a punch, bolt, or something of the same size as the pin.
Tap the pin flush with the crank, then punch it out, making sure whatever your using as a punch is bigger than the hole in the pin, so it doesn't expand.
Push/tap out roll pin using a roll pin punch....they come in the proper size and have a ball end that fits the center of the roll pin preventing deformation (worth buying a set). Tap the pedal crank out with a soft faced hammer. Use the approperatly sized wrench to remove nut. Use a set of channel locks with a scrap piece (1/5" X 4") of tire tube. Wrap the tube around the knerled nut and losen using the channel locks
