Finally riding a big boys bike
Hello, I have a 1951 JC Higgins Boys Bike. I bought the skirts of a like-year girls JC Higgins because I've seen other folks put them on the boys bikes. Well, the hole in the metal where the bike skirts connect over the rear screw above the rr axle are not in the " right " place. Looks like when I line the skirts up right in the wheel well, I'll need to drill a new hole to get it all to fit in...and fill in the orig. holes. is this "normal", or am I doing something wrong? Mike at [email protected] for faster contact. Thanks all.
