How to protect delicate decals in shipping

Hello everyone. I will be dismantling this ‘63 Huffy Avanti to ship to California. It will be given a partial or maybe full restoration for a Studebaker collection. Buyer wants it shipped as carefully as possible. I am shipping the tank and light in a separate box. The decals on the tank are very delicate. I took photos for him, but I really want to ensure they are not rubbed off in transit. What do I wrap this in? Should I go so far as to clear coat it??

Buyer will need these intact to make new logos because decals are not made for this model.

I think i would try a brown paper bag on top of decals then wrap with saran wrap ?

Hate to say this, but that almost sounds reasonable.
