Mond

Look Ma, No Hands!
Good morning,

Can someone please shed light on what year this Pedersen bike was built? I found it in the countryside of Argentina but there is no history or number stamped on the frame (at least I could not find it anywhere even when I clean the frame with a wire brush). Thank you for your help!

If you can get a clearer/more defined photo of the wording on the lower half of the headbadge, that would help narrow it down into 1 out of the 3 phases of production.
It should have a frame number.
It should be 3 or 4 numbers long, with a single number/letter underneath, from '1' to '7', or 'A', 'B' or 'C' - this lower number/letter indicates the frame size

Thank you very much Dnc1!!! I will try to get a clearer picture of the badge and I will post it. In the meantime, I will keep looking for the number but I could not find it anywhere. I look at the bottom of the pedal box, on the front fork, on the tubes everywhere but nothing to be found...

Here is a more detailed picture of the badge in my Pedersen. Can you tell the phase of production from this?

I think that this dates it to sometime between 1899/1900 and 1905/6.
It's relatively confusing, as there were subtle changes to the wording used on the badges.
I'm no expert, so please don't take my word as definite.
I believe there is an excellent Facebook NVCC Dursley Pedersen Group which has been mentioned in other Cabe threads on these wonderful bicycles, which I think would be your best source of information.
If you do find a frame number, those guys would be interested to know it, as the register of numbers is still being added to.

Thank you very much for your input DNC. I am indeed a member of the Dursley Pedersen group and I posted the same question there. Still waiting for an answer. If I find the number, I will definitely circulate it. Thanks again for the help.
