Around 1983 A friend mailed me a coconut from Hawaii, just wrote a note and the address + stamp on the husk. The message said, "Send more beer and ice, don't tell mom". A friend of ours has a coconut on display that was mailed home by a relative from Hawaii during WWII. Has a very faded sunset with palm trees and hula dancers on it.

Another of those "Not my problem" cases...
I have definitely gotten high-rise bars packed just like this before. I once sent Torrington Texas bars like this because I could not find a box, it is definitely an awkward size box. To watch the PO clerk try and measure this out and weigh it is interesting to see.
