"Huff" or "Huffy"?

During the early 1960s I remember my father giving me a used bicycle with a nameplate reading simply "Huff", rather than "Huffy" with a "y". Could this be, or is my memory faulty? Thanks.

In my case it would be bad memory. More likely it was a decal with some letters missing. Either Huffy or Huffman. Roger

Thank you for your reply. I believe you are correct--there must have been a letter missing or, possibly, I'm not remembering completely. Again, thanks for your input. Tom Fox, Yuma, Arizona.

In the 60’s there was a lot of huffing and puffing going around...who knows.
