On Training Wheels
The decal head badge says Columbia but the configuration and serial number (pictured) suggests that this is actually a Wartime Huffman bicycle. Also pictured are blackout hubs on the front and rear (Morrow rear hub dated 1945 - 01 36 13) and what appears to be a “5” stamped on the back of the fork. The oxidized original paint is very intact and will clean up a bit better than what I have accomplished over the years. The Mesinger B-600 saddle is also pretty solid with just a small amount of loss that is also pictured. A nice functioning survivor or use as a foundation for a Wartime tribute bike. Delivery to either Kutztown/Trexlertown or other locations is available.
