I bought 4 bikes at an auction. Got pics now.

Pics now, they are still in my van. A JC Higgins, a Western Flyer, a Ross muscle bannana seat bike and a Derby I think. All my questions are about the Derby, it has drum brakes front and rear, an alum. tool box along the side of the rear rack, alum. fenders. I know not much to go on until, I thought someone might recognize it from the description. Is it foreign or USA. It has a really cool chain guard on it. I can't figure out how to put air in the tires.

Well which one gets attention first. When I bought these a guy asked me if I buy old bikes, I said yes so I guess I will have to drive 80 mi. round trip to see what he's got. He said he has a little schwinn, a boys big schwinn with a tank, and a boys Murray with a tank. Any info on that other bike would be great. THANKS

Is it a Presta valve stem? I can't really tell from the pic. If you remove the valve cap is there a tiny knob you can unscrew? If so you will need a pump for a Presta stem. Most new box store pumps have both Schraeder and Presta connections. V/r Shawn

You can buy a presta to schraeder valve adapter too.

I think there is a hand pump in that long box on the side of the rear rack, I'll see if that works, it must be for that bike.
