I live for the CABE
Picked this up with the intention of making it a stripped down cruiser. Going to try and remove paint and polish everything up. It has a bendix 2 speed hub which I don’t think is original to the bike. Plus have to replace the seat. Should be a fun project if I can get it torn apart. Can anyone tell what I have exactly and year it was made? Thank in advance!

Prewar Monark, probably a Rocket. Those numbers seem long, might be added town PD stampings. I don't believe anything is original besides the chain ring.

I was thinking monark as well. The rear dropouts are not rear facing though like most other prewar bikes. I agree on the rest of the parts being incorrect besides the frame/fork and crankset.

The rear facing slots are not drop outs, they're simply called a rear fork. A forward facing slot is a drop out. ;)

Learn something new everyday. This bike has dropouts then. Postwar or prewar is the question?

Hmm, maybe '45 or early '46, as sometime that year they went to the aluminum ID tags, used through '54.
