Your bike was built in the 60s by the Snyder company. Their house brand was Rollfast.
 
'63 was the 1st year for that odd chain guard, I have a Montgomery Ward's 1963 catalog, which mentions the "All new styling". The blue Rollfast has the older style guard. Huffy generally didn't make Hawthornes, aside from a few '47ish bikes, and later, in the '70s-'80s.
