I picked up this rack the other day and have a few questions

I picked up this rack the other day and there is no evidence that it is ever been painted and looks like it is made out of the same material that the flat Fender braces are made out of. Did they make a non painted galvanized metal style rack?

I really only seen them in black or painted but never Raw like this. I was wondering if it's the same material as the painted ones. My guess is that it was an after-market rack

I'd clear coat it before it rusts anymore!
