ID Frame please

cr250mark

Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I’m assuming frame to be 1900 -1920 to be safe
Serial number with patten date stamped on lower crank housing
I have this frame set listed for sale and being asked a lot about manufacturer.
I thought this may happen but now that people are asking I figured it might be good time to find out , both for myself
and the buyer
I thought it had characteristics of Early Tribune but maybe way off
Any input would be great
Crankset original to frame .
7-3/4” head tube
Badge holes side by side 3 -1/4” apart
24” from center lower case to top of seat tube

Thank you
Matk

Crankset looks like a double D drive, by Mr. Dikeman, (Eagle bicycles?); and later used by Westfield, (and maybe Pope & ABC).

I believe that members @Bozman and @locomotion identified similar patent stamped frames, (Hawthornes?), which were more legible.

The "Bicycle" Patent, could be the Smith-National patent 392,973; dated November 13, 1888; the one that shows up in Google pictures of cute artwork, etc., but more importantly, related to the Pope Mfg. versus Schwinn lawsuit.
Bottom line may have been that WE Smith's patent was unoriginal and invalid; (so why continue to stamp it on frames).
The variety of frame examples with the stampings suggest ABC (or Pope Mfg. before 1911).
For ~23 years, did people think that Mr. Smith invented the bicycle -- because he filed a patent for it(!)(?).

Thank you very much for this info
Had a heck of a time trying to locate exact chain ring
In any ad / catalog format , spend hours doing this but having the right resources is key
Thought fork crown - rear stays and drop outs had its Pope/Westfield characteristics
Unusual pat date / serial format which I seen pop up
From time to time here on the Cabe but not nail down
1 manufacturer doing this.
So many frame and build similarities and characteristics between each manufacturer Make these unabadged bikes sometimes difficult
To nail down
Some companies being so very identifiable in there manufacturing
Appreciate your “time and input” !
