Schwinny
I live for the CABE
I thought I would pull another saddle from the pile and see how it does.
Daddy needs money for his Armstrong Resto
This is an Ideale Model TB-90.
Copper rivets
Brown
Nice Patina - Looks nicely used
Solid and completely usable for daily use.
No softness, tears or cracks other than the surface crazing. Could use a good saddle soap cleaning and a dab of conditioner, it is fairly dry but not too dry, its very sturdy
I thought about using it on my Armstrong Resto but decided Im going with an English make as was original on it. Even though it looks much older, I think this one is from the 1970's. I took it off a tall Peugeot a few years back that as I remember, was a 70's model. Maybe older, maybe not. I don't know if it was original to the bike but the bike was a bent parts bike and everything on it looked original. It had been outside covered for several years.
